Whatever-Makes-You-Happy Hour

WMYHH is the time of the day that my husband, Tyler, and I set up an easy activity for our kids and let them do it how THEY want! We let them get messy, be loud, be chaotic, and just be kids!

When Tyler used to get home, we would be bombarded by the kids wanting to play different things and we found we weren't able to have a conversation until the kids went to bed.

So one day I set up a super easy activity of paint + cardboard boxes for the kids. They were so engaged in what they were doing that he and I got to reconnect and have an entire conversation. At one point our oldest asked if he could paint his hands. We said "Whatever makes you happy!"

After that, WMYHH was born!
